Notebook Café
Support for all ZIM services - directly on campus
In the Notebook Café of the Centre for Information and Media Technology Services (ZIM), we support students and employees of Paderborn University with all questions relating to the IT services of the ZIM. Here you can clarify your technical concerns directly on site in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Notebook Café is located in Building H, Room H1.201, together with the ZIM Media Service Centre.

What we offer
In the Notebook Café we help you, for example, with
- Institution and use of the university account (TAN, password reset)
- Connecting to the university WLAN or VPN
- Use of Microsoft 365
- Institution of your university mail address
- Questions about network drives
- Issuing doIT certificates of participation
We will take the time to answer your questions and show you how to use the ZIM services effectively.

The hotline hours correspond to the opening hours of the Notebook Café. Many topics can also be handled from home. For this purpose, a wide range of self-help resources are available: help.uni-paderborn.de
