Media technology in event rooms
If necessary, mobile media technology (e.g. projectors and audio systems) is used in small seminar, training and meeting rooms. There is an increasing demand for hybrid presentation tools for mobile teaching scenarios that can be integrated quickly. This equipment is not only used by junior professors and professors, but can also be borrowed by students from the media lending centre (H1.201). Notebooks, iPads (with standard software) and examination laptops, recording equipment for video and audio productions as well as mobile equipment for hybrid classes are available to a certain extent and can be borrowed via a digital lending system with a period of 1-2 weeks.
Media technology support
Is your computer not showing an image in the beamer projection or is a wireless microphone not working? In the event of media technology problems in the centrally administered teaching rooms at UPB, the team can be contacted as emergency support on 60-2825. For event support and for instructions on how to use the media technology infrastructure, appointments should be arranged with the ZIM: Media in good time so that technical issues can be clarified in advance.
Consultancy and procurement of media technology hardware
The staff at ZIM: Media are expert contacts for all members of the university, e.g. when purchasing new high-quality presentation and production equipment or when it comes to media-specific and communication technology hardware and software issues.
