ZIM supports faculties, institutes, professorships, departments and other organisational units at Paderborn University with IT infrastructure, hosting services, web and collaboration solutions and media technology support.

IT infrastructure, networks & storage

Digital communication and groupware services enable structured collaboration in groups, committees and projects - both within the university and across locations.

ZIM provides various collaboration platforms for the joint processing of content, code and documents. These support working and project groups in coordinated, traceable collaboration.

Know­ledge man­age­ment

Wiki-based systems and intranet solutions are available for the structured documentation of processes, projects and internal knowledge. They enable the sustainable storage and dissemination of information within your field.

Or­gan­isa­tion & ser­vice pro­cesses

For administrative workflows and internal service processes, ZIM offers systems for structured application processing, guest management and process control. These support a transparent and comprehensible organisation.

Soft­ware & li­cence man­age­ment

From campus contracts to network licences and single user licences: ZIM supports fields in the procurement, management and provision of central software products for research, teaching and administration.

Web presence & digital visibility

A professional online presence and the structured presentation of people, projects and publications are central components of the external presentation of your field. The ZIM provides suitable platforms and systems for this.
