Here you’ll find our current course offerings. Our courses are available both online and in-person. You can register for online courses at any time. The dates for the next in-person sessions are listed in the course descriptions below. Each course run consists of two or three sessions, and attendance at the first session is compulsory for the rest of the course.
An overview of our courses
In this course, the video editing software DaVinci Resolve is introduced. The focus is on functions that are particularly relevant for creating and editing videos in academic and creative contexts.

This course introduces the image editing programme Affinity.
In particular, it covers the programme’s basic functions, enabling you to carry out simple image editing.

- Basics of image editing and an introduction to Affinity (user interface, programme overview, pixel graphics)
- Programme tools: selection, retouching, design elements, etc.
- The concept of layers & layer masks – best practices for image editing and cropping elements
- Image corrections – filters and effects
- Designing your own poster

This course covers the basics of statistical data analysis using SPSS. The focus is on methods and functions that are particularly relevant for analyses in a university context and within the framework of bachelor’s theses. The course is aimed at participants who have little or no prior experience with SPSS or statistical methods.

Informationen zur Anmeldung und Teilnahme
Die Selbsteinschreibung in die PANDA-Kurse ist unverbindlich! Ihr könnt euch also einfach in PANDA anmelden und euch erst einmal den Kurs genauer anschauen!
Präsenzkurse:
- Selbsteinschreibung in PANDA über den Link in der Kursübersicht
- Bestätigt eure Anmeldung durch die Abgabe in den jeweiligen Kursen. Genauere Informationen findet ihr in den Kursen in PANDA.
Onlinekurse:
- Selbsteinschreibung in PANDA über den Link in der Kursübersicht.
- Jeder Studierende der Universität Paderborn kann kostenlos an den doIT-Schulungen teilnehmen.
- Die Kurse finden in Online- und Präsenzformat statt.
- Umfang Präsenzkurse: etwa 10 Stunden (2 x 4 Stunden + Abschlussprüfung)
- Nach bestandener Abschlussprüfung und Teilnahme an der Umfrage erhaltet ihr eine Teilnahmebescheinigung.
- Eine Teilnahmebescheinigung wird ausgehändigt, wenn die Prüfung mit mindestens 50% bestanden wurde. Diese können anschließend im Notebook-Café (H1.201) persönlich oder mittels Vollmacht sowie Lichtbildausweis auch von Dritten abgeholt werden.
